Herring Dissection
The students hold the herring in their hands and engage their senses of sight, touch, and smell as they dissect and examine the fish’s exterior and interior. Along the way, we discuss fish anatomy—the functions of the various organs and why a herring actually looks the way it does.

Number: Up to 28 students per course.
Price: 1,490 DKK + museum admission (see prices under "Schools")
Times: The program can be booked Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. or 12:45 p.m., except during school breaks.
We are looking forward to an exciting, phased renovation of the museum. Therefore, starting in 2027, bookings for educational programs will be subject to room availability.
