Facilities That Inspire
With a meeting package at the Fisheries and Maritime Museum, you get more than just a meeting room and catering. We offer many unique opportunities to make your day a little different from the usual workday. During your meeting, for example, you could:
- Watch the seals being fed in the sealarium
- Take a break and enjoy watching the fish swim by in the aquarium
- Organize a "walk 'n' talk" at the Open Air Exhibition
- Enjoy the tranquility and atmosphere of the special exhibition Mysteries of the Sea
- Read captivating stories about the lives of fishermen at sea in the exhibition Denmark's Incredible Fishing Venture
There are many options, and with the Albatros meeting room, you have free access to the entire museum. It’s entirely up to you how you want to plan your meeting.

Welcome to Albatros
The meeting room is called Albatros and is inspired by the bird of the same name. The room used to be the museum’s internal library, which is why it has a somewhat unconventional layout, featuring a beautiful spiral staircase in the center of the room.
The room is divided into two floors, with a beautiful panoramic window overlooking the museum’s playground. The meeting room itself is on the ground floor; on the first floor, there is a coat rack and plenty of open space to stretch your legs or do group work.
At Albatros, you'll find the following equipment:
- Large TV screen
- Equipment for online meetings connected to the TV screen
- Projector and accompanying speakers
- Whiteboard with markers
- Writing materials for each participant at the start of the meeting
- Post-its, markers, scissors, and extra notepads and pens
- Power strips and cable reels
- Wi-Fi

Number of participants
Meeting packages are available for groups of up to 25 people. However, we recommend that groups consist of around 20 people or fewer.
If there are 25 people, some participants will have to sit on the inner side of the horseshoe-shaped seating arrangement.
The museum must receive the final and exact number of participants no later than 7 business days before the event.
If there are fewer than 6 participants, a fee of 1,000 DKK will be charged.
ORDER CONFIRMATION
The purchase of a meeting package is considered final once the buyer has received an order confirmation.
The following cancellation policy applies:
The event may be canceled free of charge up to 6 weeks before the start date. For cancellations made after that, a cancellation fee equal to 65% of the total cost of the event will be charged. “Cancellation” refers to cancellation, shortening, or similar significant changes to the booking.
Accessibility
Meeting packages can be booked Monday through Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
However, this does not apply on public holidays or during school breaks.
Catering
Be sure to list any allergens. As early in the process as possible.
Menu requests must be received by the museum no later than 7 business days before the event. Food can only be ordered from the current menu. If no menu requests are specified, the museum will make the selection. Lunch includes 1 soft drink or water per person.
