Meet the zookeeper

Who actually takes care of all our animals in the aquarium? What do the fish, crabs, and starfish eat—and why do they behave the way they do? Come along and find out the answers when our animal caretaker feeds the animals in one of our aquariums.

Get up close and personal and get a glimpse of what it’s like to work as an animal caretaker beneath the surface of the ocean. You can watch, ask questions, and learn about the animals—and everything that goes on behind the scenes at an aquarium.

Afterward, you can explore on your own and see if you can find even more exciting animals.
And remember, you can also watch the seals being fed at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Questions and Answers

You can make a reservation by sending us an inquiry.

Below, you'll find answers to some of the most common questions.

How should the prices be interpreted?

The program itself costs 645 kr., plus admission to the museum.

Children under 18 always enter for free, and in most cases, two teachers accompany each class.
The rules vary depending on the type of institution you are from. Therefore, please refer to our ticket page, which describes which rules apply to whom.

There is no upper limit on the number of teachers who may participate in each course; however, "additional" teachers must pay the admission fee.

What about students with special needs?

We always have room for students with special needs, but we would appreciate a few more details so we can have time to prepare.

You can include this in your inquiry.

How does billing work?

After the program, you will receive an invoice for the admission fee and the program.

You can pay by debit card, bank transfer, or EAN.

What are the cancellation policies?

The course can be canceled free of charge up to 2 weeks before the start date. For cancellations made later than that, a cancellation fee equal to 65% of the total booking amount will be charged.
“Cancellation” refers to cancellation, shortening of the program, and similar significant changes to the booking.

In the event of a no-show, the full amount will be charged.
